Sourcing Assistant needed in MEDFORD, NJ

 

Ready to kickstart your career in recruiting? We’re looking for an energetic and detail-loving Junior Recruiter to join our team! In this entry-level role, you’ll get hands-on experience across the full hiring process—from sourcing awesome candidates and reviewing resumes to scheduling interviews and keeping everything organized in our applicant tracking system.

 

You’ll be one of the first people candidates connect with, so you’ll play a big part in creating a friendly, positive, and memorable experience. Along the way, you’ll use modern recruiting tools, learn the ins and outs of talent acquisition, and build skills that set you up for long-term success.

 

Behind the scenes, you’ll also help keep our recruiting team running smoothly by juggling administrative tasks and supporting multiple recruiters. Your work will make a real impact by helping us hire great people faster—and have some fun while doing it.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Review and evaluate resumes to identify qualified candidates in all regions.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, and networking events to assist in building talent pipeline.
  • Coordinate and schedule pre-screens between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Manage communication with candidates, providing updates and answering questions.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems with candidate information.
  • Reach out to candidates periodically via email, phone, and text to maintain up-to-date information on candidates.
  • Post pipeline job postings on various platforms and manage job listings.
  • Generate reports on pipeline candidates based on several different reportable areas.
  • Attend team meetings as needed.
  • Assist with team projects as needed.
  • Keep referral spreadsheets up to date.Assist Talent Acquisition Manager on all administrative needs within the Recruiting team.

Qualifications

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, associate degree.
  • Two (2) years of experience within customer service role.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proficiency with recruitment tools like applicant tracking systems and job boards.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role is a must.
  • Background in customer service is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms including LinkedIn, indeed, Zip recruiter.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Some understanding of the hiring lifecycles and best practices of the recruiting process.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) software used to manage candidate applications.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong relationship/interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with others.
  • Efficient in time management skills, managing schedules and deadlines.
  • Comfortable with software tools and platforms and scheduling.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including use of phone.
  • Excellent writing communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to articulate ideas and thoughts with attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate in fast paced environment and change priorities quickly.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities to meet expected response deadlines.
  • Ability to portray a positive, enthusiastic, and energetic demeanor.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to be flexible and show patience when faced with ambiguity.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Location of job activities 100% inside.
  • Sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Use of phone for communication
  • Extensive manual dexterity (keyboarding, mouse, phone).
  • Occasionally stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, and move up to 10 pounds.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be available during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm EST.
  • On occasion, must be available during non-business hours, including weekends, but this is rare.
  • This position requires at least 2 days in the Medford, NJ office.

Pay Range

$48,000-$52,000

Travel | Relocation
